Description
This Tri-Colored was in the Gatorland Aviary near Kissimmee, Florida. Thousands of bird go to the Gatorland area because the gators eat the birds natural predators, like snakes and raccoons. At this age of a few weeks the herons look a little like I do in the morning, with hair going every which way. These birds are very proficient at finding minnows and bugs in the many shallow areas in the Florida wetlands.
