Description
A single chair. Grandpa's chair ... not just because he sits there every night, but because he built the chair, with his own hands. It is worn, but comfortable, like an old shirt. Nobody else sits in Grandpa's chair. It is old and frail, like him.
When he is gone, the chair will stay there, in the home that was also built by Grandpa.
This photo is from the Shingle Creek Pioneer Museum in Kissimmee, Florida. The Museum consists of a collection of pre-1910 that were moved from their original Osceola County locations to this park, which will display the buildings in a city setting.
