Description
This beautiful little green spider is common to Central Florida. Its true size is about a half inch from toes to toes. I like to sit and watch them spin their webs, with patience and knowledge that astounds. A fallen leaf can destroy a weeks work in a second, but this little green guy just keeps spinning his detailed web. His work provides food and nourishment for himself and his hundreds of offspring. It is a good creature, and a major cog in the food chain. Every creature has a purpose.
