Description
I discovered this large Golden Orb spider as I was walking through an oak hammock in Central Florida. This spider was about 8 inches long and had built a huge web,. I found it to be a beautiful creature, and learned that it is harmless to humans, but hard to domesticate. You can see the delicate hairs on the legs and joints.
