About Dick Hudson
A retired helicopter pilot and Vietnam Veteran. Live in Kissimmee, Florida.... a beautiful place, with lots of photo opportunity. I photograph what I like, and it could be something different every day. This has become something of a quest for me. I want to become a Fine Artist. Seems like something that a person would do from their youth. Art School, Apprentice, Studios, etc. I am 72, and don't have time for all that. Thank you, Jean. I don't think that Cades Cove was affected by the fire. But my favorite lodging in Gatlinburg did burn down. I was there last spring with my college friends. I have some images of those buildings. I may post one in memorandum. I will message you related to the show. I am curious about a few things.

Oh, this is quite stunning! I visited Gatlinburg many times while attending UT in Knoxville and would have loved to have seen this-hope it made it thru the fires! Your work is so stunningly beautiful and hope you are selling well! I have a curated show going on in CityArtsFactory-Star Gallery opening tonight and running through Feb 10th. I think you would do well in that arts district there unless you have other venues! In any case, love the effects your acheived in this piece-looks so much like combining charcoal and gesso and acrylic washes which I am working on right now!
