Dick, I love the contrast and lighting you have captured in this photo. I would not change a thing. There is a wonderful mystery to this piece and it makes me want to look around in the background for the details.

Dick, another great scene. I have read all the comments before me and would like to offer a few thoughts/recommendations. (1) I agree with Janal K., great symmetry. (2) Mark Fuge mentioned saturation and bright colors. I agree with him in that the orange and red are a little too bright which makes the scene look a little less natural. I would just tone the brightness down ever-so-slightly. (3) My eye went directly to the red spot on the middle boat. I'm not sure what that is. I would take some of the brightness out or delete it altogether, it's a distraction. (4) I would also slightly lighten the bottom of the middle board to better see the full name of the boat Nina.... (5) Lastly, I would brighten the water slightly as well, make it look a little less shadowed. Not a lot, just a smidgeon. Great work, colors, and detail. On a separate note, I love your story and artwork Dick. I first visited some of your other works (commented, tweeted, fb, etc) and am now following you. Your quite the talented photographer. Keep up the great work! And thanks so much for your years of service!! Hugs.

Great colors and composition. I like the increasing intensity (from left to right ) of the boat colors. The piles to me are (visually) parts of the boat and do not distract (for my taste). The only thing I would do is darken the, to me, distracting and too busy back behind the boats, by either darkening it or 'blur' the sharpness of it, - and perhaps lightening the water in front of the boats a bit. :-)

I like the high contrast and bright colors which set the time as near dark, and that left pier helps put the viewer on a dock. A beautiful photo!

Now this is a very lovely image as strickly as a suggestion from a personal point view... I would agree with Mark that removing the piling without cropping. I would recommend to slightly tone down the yellow and orange and enhance the the blues.... the yellow is affecting the coloring in the water outside of the reflection. My eye goes straight to the last boat, I am not sure if that is the intent; however it reduces the presence of the first two boats.... very color and interesting image...

I like the image as shot with two comments, both personal and suggestions not critical. The first being that I would have moved a little to the right to eliminate the piling on the left and included the name of the last boat on the left. The other boat names are given and it would have tied the theme a little, in my view. The second, while I know people like saturated colors, it was a little too much for my taste. The fluorescent colors hit my eyes bright when the image came up! ; >) I use to use fluorescent paint and tape for marking survey points for that reason. But like the other comment, it is a personal thing. I would have toned it down a little to make it more natural, though I understand others like it bright as possible. Otherwise a great shot.

You have a beautiful image with symmetry. I really would love to see more of the reflection, in doing that your eye will move around the photo.

Great work! I would like to see just a slightly lighter shadow and possibly the wooden pier gone but as Rahdne said, it is not too distracting - terrific clarity and colors!

Love the depth, clarity even in the boats on the other side of the dock. Colors are amazing and I like the composition, too. Only thing that I'm not too fond of is the darkness in the shade, would have liked a little less contrast between light and dark. l/f/tw/pin

Dick, this is a great shot of this trio of boats. The post processing is nice with just the right amount of color saturation to make the boat trim really pop. I would like to have seen this without the wood from the pier in the lower left corner; however, it's not overly distracting as is, so no harm done, really. A beautiful shot overall and congratulations on winning the Travel Photos contest! =)
