Description
A lone streetlamp begins its battle with the dark during a red sunset near the International Airport in Orlando, Florida. The sky will soon turn to black, the trees will disappear, and the lamp will provide direction to the living beings nearby. The red sunset portends a cool coming morning ... not so common in Florida.

Whew! It's not always on our minds when we're trying to get that perfect shot to be aware of our surroundings, Dick, but it should be! Glad your photo shoot turned out to be a photo shoot. Beautiful shot!
Dick Hudson replied:
Thank you, Diannah. It is all of the fun of the shoot. Sometimes we have to stalk our photos.

I had to park my car along the road to get this image. I was safe, but a few moments later a police officer stopped by my car and approached me. The night before the officer had been told of a person shooting wild pigs in a nearby field and a car was parked in the same place I used. Happily he discovered that my camera was not a gun. He was really friendly. once he realized that I was a friendly. He asked me to show him my picture, and then told me to enjoy my evening. So, I got my shot without getting shot myself. Good night.
