A Florida Osprey hangs on a limb near Oak and Cypress Grove near Lake Tohopekiliga in Central Florida. An incessant sharp song lets visitors, man and wildlife, that another Osprey is on a nest just down the path. From time to time the sitting Osprey answer's the call. The eggs are warm, and the fledglings will son be born. Then it will be the parent's chore to feed them from the plentiful fish in the lake, and to eventually coax them out of their nest, which was peacefully built on a wooden platform, safe from man and critters.
About Dick Hudson
A retired helicopter pilot and Vietnam Veteran. Live in Kissimmee, Florida.... a beautiful place, with lots of photo opportunity. I photograph what I like, and it could be something different every day. This has become something of a quest for me. I want to become a Fine Artist. Seems like something that a person would do from their youth. Art School, Apprentice, Studios, etc. I am 72, and don't have time for all that. The digital camera made it easier for me, and for everyone else. It is hard to differentiate from other artists.
